Who are we?

Zendesk is a service-first CRM company that builds software designed to improve customer relationships. As employees, we encourage each other to grow and innovate. As a company, we roll up our sleeves to plant roots in the communities we call home.

Our software is powerful and flexible, and scales to meet the needs of any business. Even yours.

We’ve been using Ruby on Rails since Zendesk launched in 2006 but if you’re looking for something different, we may just have what you’re looking for 😉

Our code is written in Go, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Node, Objective-C, Python, Scala, Swift, TypeScript.
Our services communicate via gRPC, REST APIs and GraphQL.
Our servers live in AWS.
Our services are deployed to Kubernetes using Spinnaker.
Our data is stored in Memcached, Redis, Kafka and Aurora.
